Blumenrath with around 3,000 inhabitants is a district of Alsdorf, with around 47,000 inhabitants the fourth largest city in the Aachen city region. The shopping opportunities in Alsdorf are very good with numerous supermarkets and retail stores. The job market offers good opportunities in the areas of crafts, production and services. Additional jobs are available in Aachen through the various universities (RWTH, FH, KatHO) and the clinic.

The property is on the outskirts of Blumenrath, but the center of Alsdorf can also be reached by car in about 8 minutes. There is a kindergarten and a primary school in the village. All types of secondary schools (secondary school, secondary school, comprehensive school and high school) are represented in Alsdorf.



Aachen city center can be reached by car in about 20 minutes. There are also good public transport connections through various bus lines and the Euregiobahn. The nearest motorway junctions are approx. 8 minutes away for the A44 (AS Alsdorf) and approx. 10 minutes away for the A4 (AS Eschweiler-West).
